Registrations

  • Your registration fee covers the operational cost of putting on the Walk 4 Hope. However all fundraising dollars will be used to run support groups, non-clinical counselling sessions, education and training programs, and other services that Huntington's Australia provide.

  • Ticket prices are as follows:

    • Family $50

    • Adult $25

    • Child (4 to 17 years) $10

    • Infant complimentary

  • You sure can register and complete the Walk as team! Sign up for the Walk 4 Hope and select 'Create a team' or 'Join a team'.

 

On the day

  • The Walk 4 Hope start time is 11am at all locations except Brisbane (9am) and Perth 10am. We will be onsite with registration, merchandise and raffle ticket sales from 10am (8am Brisbane and 9am Perth).

  • Make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. You should also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and appropriate outdoor weather clothing (in case of rain).

  • Each Walk 4 Hope location will have a limited supply of merchandise available for purchase.

    • T-shirts (purple and blue)

    • Hats

    • Drink bottles

    • Pens

    • Pins

 

Fundraising

  • Online fundraising is a platform where you can raise vital funds for the Walk. By creating an online fundraising page, you can direct people to donate straight to this page without the hassle of collecting money, sending in cheques or via bank transfer.

  • Absolutely! Sponsorship and providing raffle prizes or goods is vital to a successful event. Please email fundraising@huntingtonsaustralia.au or call 1800 244 735 and speak to the fundraising team.

  • Anyone who collects over $100 on their fundraising page is gifted with a free Walk 4 Hope t-shirt valued at $25. Be sure to come and see us at the registration desk on the day of the Walk to redeem your gift.
